- Emu (18 years old) and Nico (12 years old) face off against each other as Genius Gamers M and N in the finals match of a game tournament.

- Emu undergoes a Bugster removal operation at the Next Genome Research Institute under Michihiko Zaizen.
- Parad is separated from Emu and is born as the world’s first Bugster.
- Zaizen and his subordinates are infected with the Bugster virus and disappear.
- As Parad’s host, Emu obtains the same ability to transform into a Kamen Rider that a person would normally obtain with compatibility surgery.

- An unspecified large number of ordinary people suddenly develop Game Syndrome and disappear.
- The Ministry of Health learns of the existence of the Bugster virus and traces it back to Genm Corporation’s game development. The incident is secretly named Zero Day.
- Masamune resigns as CEO of Genm Corporation, assuming responsibility for Zero Day, and is sent to prison.
- Kuroto (25 years old) becomes CEO of Genm Corporation, and dispatches Poppy Pipopapo to the Ministry of Health to assist them with countermeasures against the Bugster virus.
- The Ministry of Health secretly establishes the Cyberbrain Critical Care Center (CR) at Seito University Hospital. Poppy Pipopapo is appointed as Kamen Rider mission control.
- Game Cheats: Kamen Rider Snipe Episode ZERO — Part 1
- Taiga (24 years old) discovers a new virus while working as a radiologist at Seito University Hospital.
- He and his colleague Jirou Maki are summoned to CR.
- Taiga is scouted as a Kamen Rider by CR, but refuses. In his place, Maki volunteers to be a Kamen Rider and collapses from the side effects of the Proto Gashat.
- Game Cheats: Kamen Rider Snipe Episode ZERO — Part 2
- Taiga begins his activities as Kamen Rider Proto Snipe.
- Kuroto and Parad observe that Bugster viruses evolve whenever they are defeated.
- Taiga is charged with a Game Syndrome patient named Saki Momose. However, the Proto Gashat’s side effects take a toll on his body. Maki attempts to stop Taiga, but Maki develops Game Syndrome and disappears.
- Game Cheats: Kamen Rider Snipe Episode ZERO — Part 3
- Saki suffers from Game Syndrome and disappears. Graphite is born.
- Taiga fights Graphite as Kamen Rider Proto Snipe but is defeated.
- Hiiro (19 years old) rushes over to see Saki, who is hospitalized in CR, but Saki disappears.
- The Ministry of Health confiscates Taiga’s medical license. He is removed from CR and becomes a back-alley doctor.
- Hiiro undergoes compatibility surgery under the possibility of working for CR in the future. He goes to study abroad in the United States in the hopes of becoming a doctor as soon as possible.
2013
- Kiriya (24 years old) informs his colleague Jungo Aihara about his Game Syndrome, causing him to lash out in despair and lose his life in a car accident.
- Afterwards, he learns about the existence of the Bugster virus and contacts Kuroto. On the condition of keeping his silence about Zero Day, he receives a Gamer Driver and Bursting Bike. He undergoes compatibility surgery.
October 2016 (Doctor Rider Transform!)
- Episode 1
- Emu (24 years old) uses a Gamer Driver and Mighty Action X to transform into Kamen Rider Ex-Aid for the first time to save a pediatric patient and defeat Salty.
- The fight against the Bugsters begins.
- Episode 2
- Hiiro (24 years old) uses a Gamer Driver and Taddle Quest to save a patient and defeat Alhambra.
- A mysterious black-colored Ex-Aid, Kamen Rider Genm, appears, and toys with Emu and the others.
- Episode 3
- Taiga (29 years old) uses a Gamer Driver and Bang Bang Shooting to transform into Kamen Rider Snipe and defeat Revol.
- Episode 4
- Kiriya (27 years old) uses a Gamer Driver and Blasting Bike to transform into Kamen Rider Laser. He works with Ex-Aid to defeat Motors.
- Genm uses Stupendous Sports to reach Level 3, surpassing the doctors.
- Episode 5
- Emu obtains Smashing Robots and manages to strike back at Genm using the power of Level 3.
- Having lost to Emu, Kuroto reveals his true face of madness.
November 2016 (Each with their own past)
- Episode 6
- As the feud between Hiiro and Taiga deepens, Hiiro learns that Graphite is the Bugster who was born by infecting his girlfriend, Saki, and causing her to disappear. Facing risk of death in order to avenge Saki, Hiiro obtains DoReMiFa Beat. He uses a CPR beat to utilize the power of Level 3 and manages to strike back at Graphite.
- Episode 7
- Kiriya obtains the Clash-and-Bash Swords Gashat and levels up into the humanoid Level 3. Hoping to prove that Genm is Kuroto, Kiriya overwhelms Genm. However, thanks to a plot executed by Parad, Kiriya’s plans are foiled, and he is passed off as a liar.
- Episode 8
- Taiga obtains Jet Combat and levels up to Level 3. Taking a Bugster as a hostage, he challenges Emu and Hisai and takes their Gashats.
- Kiriya and Kuroto, evenly matched at Level 3, clash against each other.
- Kuroto presents Kiriya with the mystery of why Emu can transform without undergoing the Kamen Rider compatibility surgery.
December 2016 (Team medical treatment and the Game Over of destiny)
- Episode 9
- Kyoutarou Hinata is targeted by Graphite and develops Game Disease.
- Wanting to save Kyoutarou, who had saved his life as a child, Emu pushes himself too hard and goes berserk with the incomplete Drago Knight Hunter Z.
- Episode 10
- Thanks to Graphite, a pandemic breaks out.
- Emu is taught by Kyoutarou about the importance of team medical treatment. With renewed resolve, he instigates the disjointed Hiiro, Taiga, and Kiriya into four-player cooperative play with Drago Knight Hunter Z and succeeds in defeating Graphite.
- Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man vs. Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Riders
- Dr. Pac-Man attacks.
- Dr. Pac-Man (Michihiko Zaizen) and his subordinates Souji Kuruse, Ageha Takeda, and Kazushige Ryuuzaki launch an assault on Genm Corporation. They steal Kuroto’s Gashacon Bugvisor and Proto Gashats and attempt to begin the Genome Project.
- Five Kamen Riders — Ex-Aid, Ghost, Drive, Gaim, and Wizard — work together to fight against Zaizen and his subordinates.
- Game Cheats: Kamen Rider Genm
- Emu tries to return the Eyes Open Ghost Gashat, which he had used during the battle against Dr. Pac-Man, to Kuroto, but on the way, the rampaging Collaboss engages him in a fight. Using the Ghost, Drive, and Gaim Gashats, he defeats Collaboss.
- Using the power of the Wizard Gashat, Kuroto overwhelms Ex-Aid as Genm and retrieves all of the Gashats that were created in the course of the battle.
- Episode 11
- Knowing that Genm is the mastermind behind the spread of the Bugster Virus, Emu decides to defeat him. Emu, Hiiro, Taiga, and Kiriya manage to overwhelm Genm with four-player Drago Knight Hunter Z cooperative play. Kuroto releases his transformation in front of Emu and the others, revealing his identity as Genm.
- Using data from his own death, Kuroto completes Dangerous Zombie.
- Episode 12
- Emu and Hisai defeat Salty by making full use of Stupendous Sports and Christmas-exclusive Energy Items.
- Poppy sings the Christmas song “Pingple Pells”.
- Kiriya meets Kuroto’s father Masamune in prison, learning about Kuroto’s plans and the secrets behind Emu.
- Taiga meets Nico Saiba, a mysterious girl who holds a grudge against Emu.
- In order to silence Kiriya, Kuroto transforms into Dangerous Zombie Level X (10) and overwhelms Laser. Laser’s Rider Gauge is sent to 0.
- Kiriya entrusts Emu with his Gamer Driver and Blasting Bike, and disappears with a Game Over.
January 2017 (A new challenger appears!)
- Episode 13
- Emu begins his surgical internship under Hiiro.
- Still dealing with the loss of Kiriya and tormented by the feeling of helplessness from his inability to save patients, Emu meets Parad for the first time. Parad gives him a mysterious Gashat, and Emu uses it with the power of Genius Gamer M to level up to Level XX. Ex-Aid splits into two.
- Episode 14
- Emu and Hiiro manage to momentarily coordinate a two-pronged plan to save a patient with both cancer and Game Syndrome.
- As a genius surgeon, Hiiro performs cancer removal surgery on the patient.
- As a genius gamer, Emu uses the power of Level XX to defeat Alhambra. After the battle, he develops a severe headache and falls unconscious.
- Taiga retrieves a blood sample from Emu in his unconscious state and discovers that Emu has developed Game Syndrome.
- Kamen Rider Brave: Survive! Revival of the Beast Rider Squad
- A group of beast-type Kamen Riders, called the “Beast Rider Squad”, is revived. The worst and most evil of them, Takeshi Asakura, begins wreaking havoc. Under attack by Asakura’s subordinates, Hiiro confronts them with the power of a new Gashat, Knight of Safari.
- Episode 15
- After barging into Taiga’s clinic, Nico develops Game Syndrome and begins medical treatment under CR.
- Hiiro and Taiga hear directly from Kuroto that “Emu is the world’s first Game Syndrome patient to be infected with the Bugster virus”. They formulate a plan to take Emu’s Gashats and Gamer Driver from him.
- Parad uses the Gashat Gear Dual to transform into Kamen Rider Para-DX. Using the power of Level 50, he overwhelms Brave and Snipe.
- Episode 16
- Emu and Taiga form a temporary alliance to treat Nico. However, the Level 50 Para-DX gets in their way, creating a close struggle.
- After a harsh battle, Para-DX destroys Revol. Nico’s Game Syndrome is cured.
- Having seen Taiga fight with his life on the line, Nico requests Taiga to be her doctor.
February 2017 (The truth behind Emu Houjou)
- Episode 17
- Tsukuru Koboshi, an employee of Genm Corporation, develops a game, but ends up with Game Syndrome. He entrusts Emu with the JuJu Burger Gashat he had developed.
- Using the power of JuJu Burger, Emu manages to make Burgermon smile and beats the game.
- Kuroto refuses to acknowledge the Gashat for being produced without his permission and forcibly confiscates it. He then destroys Burgmon.
- Episode 18
- Hoping to recover all of the Gashats, Kuroto develops the Gashat Gear Dual β. He overwhelms Ex-Aid with the power of Taddle Fantasy, and even destroys Motors for no longer being useful to him.
- Parad, deciding Kuroto has made his heart rattle more than enough, overwhelms Genm with the power of Knock Out Fighter.
- In order to get back at Parad and destroy his wishes, Kuroto reveals Emu’s status as the world’s first Game Syndrome patient to be infected with the Bugster virus to Emu himself.
- Disturbed by the shocking truth, Emu’s Game Syndrome symptoms worsen drastically, and he begins to disappear.
- Episode 19
- For some reason, “Emu” does not return from having “Gamer M”‘s personality.
- Hiiro decides to treat a patient in Emu’s place. Stealing the Gashat Gear Dual β from Genm, he levels up to Level 50 with the power of Taddle Fantasy and defeats Gatton.
- Hiiro’s conviction as a doctor instigates something within Emu, causing him to return to his original personality as an intern.
- Episode 20
- Out of fear of being hijacked by his Gamer M personality again, Emu remains hesitant to transform.
- Hiiro fights toe-to-toe with Para-DX at Level 50, but loses consciousness in the process.
- Taiga takes the Gashat Gear Dual β from Hiiro and levels up to Level 50 with the power of Bang Bang Simulations. He completely masters control of its overwhelming power and defeats Vernier.
- Inspired by Taiga’s determination, Emu overcomes his fear, transforms into Ex-Aid, and overwhelms Genm.
- Kuroto plans to have Dangerous Zombie become even more powerful by leveling up to Level X.
March 2017 (Genm’s ambitions)
- Episode 21
- After diagnosing a patient, Emu and Asuna visit Masamune in prison and learn that Kuroto is the mastermind behind Zero Day.
- The doctors defeat Kaiden after a harsh battle, and manage to push back Genm and Para-DX.
- Kuroto declares his ambition to create the ultimate game, Kamen Rider Chronicle.
- Episode 22
- The Ministry of Health conducts a search of Kuroto’s hideout.
- Emu takes Kuroto, who has developed Game Syndrome, into CR custody. Accepting Kuroto, who seems to have repented, Emu decides to operate on him and defeats Charlie.
- Kuroto betrays Emu and levels up to Level X, and corrupts Emu’s Gamer Driver.
- Hiiro goes through Kiriya’s data and discovers that he had left behind documentation on reprogramming.
- Taiga and Nico pursue Gashat development alongside Tsukuru in order to create a sufficient counter for Genm.
- Kuroto reoccupies Genm Corporation and retakes his position as CEO.
- Episode 23
- Taking up Kiriya’s Gamer Driver and a Gashat with the reprogramming system built into it, Emu uses the power of Genius Gamer M to create Maximum Mighty X. He overwhelms Genm with the power of Level 99 and uses reprogramming to nullify Kuroto’s transformation abilities. He then attempts to give Kuroto a chance to repent for his sins.
- Parad betrays Kuroto and infects him with a large amount of virus, causing him to disappear.
- Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Great Super Hero Wars
- A huge floating fortress named Andor Genesis materializes in the real world and begins to attack the world.
- Suddenly, the game Great Super Hero Wars begins. Kiriya and other heroes who should have long disappeared, alongside a version of Hiiro in the Game World that looks exactly like him (Kamen Rider True Brave), appear. Emu and the others are left at their mercy.
- Great Super Hero Wars turns out to be deeply related to Hiiro’s past with a certain boy.
- Kamen Sentai Gorider
- Emu wakes up one day in a mysterious sealed area.
- He tries to escape alongside Kaito Kumon, Youko Minato, Kazuma Kenzaki, Kaoru Kino, and Kiriya.
- The situation turns out to be a terrifying plot by Kuroto, who should have already disappeared.
- Episode 24
- While treating a patient, Emu fights alongside the red warrior Leo Red.
- Emu, Hiiro, and Taiga work as a team to treat three patients.
- Poppy Pipopapo is brainwashed by Ren Amagasaki, the new CEO of Genm Corporation, and sings the theme song of Kamen Rider Chronicle, “PEOPLE GAME”.
- As Graphite is a complete Bugster, Parad is able to revive him, and they join up with Ren Amagasaki and Poppy Pipopapo.
- With all of the Bugsters gathered, Kamen Rider Chronicle is completed.
April 2017 (The launch of Kamen Rider Chronicle)
- Episode 25
- Genm Corporation releases its new game, Kamen Rider Chronicle. Average civilians begin transforming into Ride-Players and fighting Bugsters.
- Emu attempts to stop the game, but is left at the mercy of the brainwashed Poppy Pipopapo and the other Ride-Players.
- Parad defeats a group of Ride-Players in one shot and gives them a Game Over.
- Kamen Rider Chronicle turns out to be a game in which Bugsters beat and destroy humans.
- Episode 26
- The Ministry of Health bans the use of Kamen Rider Chronicle and announces a recall.
- Poppy Pipopapo uses a Buggle Driver II and Heartthrob Crisis to transform into Kamen Rider Poppy and prevent the doctors from trying to save the general public.
- Seeing the doctors fighting bravely, Kyoutarou Hinata makes a formal announcement about Game Syndrome causing its victims to disappear.
- Emu, Hiiro, and Taiga work together to defeat the Bugsters under Para-DX.
- Episode 27
- Genm Corporation announces that if Kamen Rider Chronicle is beaten, all of the people who had disappeared will be brought back. This causes the player population to drastically increase.
- Nico begins participating in Kamen Rider Chronicle as a Ride-Player.
- The doctors find themselves at the mercy of the Heartthrob Crisis Bugster, Lovelica.
- Wanting to save his patient, Nico, Taiga drives Lovelica away.
- Episode 28
- Emu uses programming to save Poppy Pipopapo from her brainwashing. Poppy Pipopapo struggles with the meaning of her life as a Bugster, but Emu accepts her as a friend, allowing her to smile again.
- Parad refuses to accept the idea of humans and Bugsters having any bonds between each other, and takes over Emu’s body.
- Episode 29
- Emu learns that Parad is the Bugster who originally infected him and confronts Para-DX with reprogramming in order to cure his own Game Syndrome.
- Having acquired human genes thanks to the reprogramming, Parad awakens the power of Level 99 with a Gamer Driver and the Gashat Gear Dual. After overwhelming the doctors, he takes over Emu’s body again.
May 2017 (“I’m you”, Emu and Parad)
- Episode 30
- With the destiny of humans and Bugsters on the line, Emu and Parad fight.
- After a one-on-one fight with both of them at Level 99, Para-DX emerges victorious. He attempts to give Emu a Game Over, but Kamen Rider Genm Level 0, who should have disappeared, gets in Para-DX’s way.
- Genm turns out to be Kuroto Dan, who had been revived as a Bugster.
- Episode 31
- Taking on the name “Kuroto Dan Remastered”, Kuroto seeks revenge against Parad.
- Poppy Pipopapo discovers that she is a Bugster born from Kuroto’s mother.
- Emu sees Kuroto trying to protect Poppy Pipopapo’s life and decides to reconsider his stance on him, forming a temporary alliance with him. With both using the power of Mighty, Ex-Aid and Genm manage to surpass Para-DX at Level 99.
- Episode 32
- Masamune Dan is released from prison.
- The doctors begin their final battle with the Bugsters in order to beat Kamen Rider Chronicle.
- Masamune transforms into Kamen Rider Chronos using the Buggle Driver II and Kamen Rider Chronicle. Using his Pause ability, which stops the in-game time, he permakills Lovelica and invalidates their final battle.
- Game Cheats: Kamen Rider Laser
- Kiriya turns out to have left a mysterious game, Blasting Treasure, behind.
- With Kiriya as the in-game assistant character, Emu and Hiiro attempt to clear the game.
- Kiriya turns out to have secretly attempted to obtain data on the Proto Gashats in order to prepare for the day it would become necessary.
- Episode 33
- Masamune takes control of Genm Corporation as its CEO and Kamen Rider Chronicle as its administrator.
- Emu and Kuroto devise a plan to beat Chronos’s Pause ability, but Hiiro double-crosses them.
- Hiiro is hired as Masamune’s right-hand man on the condition that he revives his girlfriend, Saki.
June 2017 (The laws of Chronos)
- Episode 34
- Emu, Hiiro, and Taiga end up in conflict over the issue of Saki.
- Choosing to prioritize saving the patients in front of him, Emu decides to confront Hiiro directly.
- Parad and Graphite obtain a sample of the Gamedeus virus in the hopes of using it to beat Chronos. Graphite absorbs the power of the Gamedeus virus and creates an opportunity to win against Chronos, but the mysterious Kamen Rider Laser Turbo interferes.
- Episode 35
- Laser Turbo turns out to be Kiriya, who should have disappeared.
- Emu tries to use reprogramming to restore Kiriya’s heart, but learns that Kiriya had chosen to become Masamune’s right-hand man by his own will. Kiriya whispers something in Emu’s ear, creating a severe rift in their relationship.
- Masamune presents Hiiro with Taddle Legacy.
- Kuroto completes Hyper Invincible as a counter to Chronos.
- Episode 36
- The quest to beat Chronos begins.
- Masamune steals Hyper Invincible from Emu and Kuroto.
- Kiriya obtains Hyper Invincible from Masamune and hands it back to Emu. It is revealed that everything had been a ploy by Emu and Kiriya to get on board with their trickery.
- Emu reinfects his body with Parad, reawakening the power of Genius Gamer M. Using Hyper Invincible to transform into Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Invincible Gamer, he strikes back at Chronos.
July 2017 (Each with their own resolution)
- Episode 37
- Determined to save Saki, Hiiro levels up to Level 100 with Taddle Legacy. He attempts to overwhelm Parad in order to deprive Emu of his ability to transform.
- Taiga attempts to support Hiiro in his fight, but Graphite attacks him viciously enough to put his life in danger.
- Episode 38
- Hiiro breaks away from Masamune’s blackmail and performs successful emergency surgery on Taiga. He apologizes to Emu for his past actions, and the two fight together against Chronos, forcibly releasing his transformation.
- Masamune ruthlessly declares judgment on Hiiro and completely erases Saki’s data.
- With the feud between Hiiro and Taiga resolved, the two reconcile.
- Episode 39
- Masamune attempts to kill Parad in order to deprive Emu of his ability to transform.
- Nico develops Game Syndrome, forcing the doctors into a situation where Parad must be beaten as soon as possible in order to treat her.
- Determined to save Nico, Emu uses the power of Invincible to completely overwhelm and extinguish Parad.
- Episode 40
- It turns out that Emu did not go as far as to take Parad’s life, and instead took him back into his own body.
- Understanding the foolishness of his actions by experiencing fear of death, Parad breaks down in tears of remorse.
- Emu accepts Parad as a part of his own personality and decides to walk together alongside him.
- Emu and Parad join up in super-cooperative play and destroy the Kamen Rider Chronicle Master Gashat.
- Masamune activates a Reset, rewinding the game clock. The Master Gashat is restored, and Emu’s Hyper Invincible disappears.
- Episode 41
- Since Hyper Invincible had disappeared, Kuroto begins re-developing it from scratch.
- In order to beat Kamen Rider Chronicle, Hiiro, Taiga, and Nico take on their final battle against Graphite. Just when Graphite is about to be finished off, Chronos interferes with the battle.
- Graphite strikes back at Chronos, and after having achieved his greatest desire to be a true enemy character, he disappears.
- Chronos attempts to activate another Reset, but the newly evolved version of Hyper Invincible uses the power of Save to invalidate the Reset.
- With all of the Gashatrophies collected, the final boss, Gamedeus, descends.
August 2017 (The end of Kamen Rider Chronicle)
- Episode 42
- The advent of Gamedeus causes a pandemic to break out.
- Kiriya and Kuroto engage in a duel, and in the process, both of them create Doctor Mighty XX, a vaccine that can counter the Gamedeus virus.
- Kiriya entrusts Emu with Doctor Mighty XX, and Emu defeats Gamedeus.
- Masamune absorbs Gamedeus into his body and transforms into the true final boss as a Bugster.
- Kiriya officially joins CR as a doctor.
- Kuroto is imprisoned by the Ministry of Health, and begins calling himself “Master Kuroto Dan”.
- Episode 43
- Masamune attempts to abduct Nico as a Ride-Player and kill her.
- Determined to fulfill his role as Nico’s doctor, Taiga transforms into Kamen Rider Chronos using a Gamer Driver and engages Gamedeus Chronos in fierce combat.
- Emu and Hiiro join in the fight, knocking down Gamedeus Chronos with team medical treatment.
- Gamedeus Chronos evolves into his ultimate form, Super Gamedeus, causing the worst possible pandemic outbreak.
- Episode 44
- The pandemic causes a large number of people to turn into Bugster viruses.
- Poppy Pipopapo injects the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat into herself, turning herself into the vaccine, in order to save people from the pandemic. Poppy Pipopapo smiles during her last moments as she disappears.
- Kuroto encounters Kamen Rider Build and loses a life to him.
- Emu, Hiiro, Taiga, Kiriya, and Kuroto transform into Level 1, and the group of five Riders engage Super Gamedeus, separating Gamedeus from Masamune’s body.
- Using the power of Doctor Mighty XX, Parad takes Gamedeus down with him, and smiles during his last moments as he disappears.
- With Emu having apparently lost his ability to transform, Masamune is confident his own victory.
- Episode 45 (final episode)
- Chronos drives the doctors into a desperate situation.
- Emu manages to outlast the power of Pause and destroys Chronos’s Buggle Driver II.
- The five Riders defeat Chronos together.
- Masamune brings the Master Gashat into himself, destroys himself, and disappears.
- Emu holds a press conference alongside Kyoutarou, and, believing in the future of medicine, he vows to restore the lives of those who had disappeared.
