All We Have — Takayuki Tsubaki

Translation for Takayuki Tsubaki’s debut single “All We Have” (ありったけ), originally released December 6, 2018.

While the song is not officially a Kamen Rider Blade work, the song is performed and partially written by Takayuki Tsubaki (actor for Kazuma Kenzaki) and was heavily promoted in association with it, including its official music video being filmed at Kitchen Cafe Cranbon (the location used for Jacaranda Cafe) and its B-side being a Tsubaki cover of “ELEMENTS” (Blade‘s second ending song). With that in mind, the lyrics are generally considered to be contextualized with Blade and Kenzaki as a motif.

“All We Have” (ありったけ)
Lyrics: Takayuki Tsubaki, Ayumu Uchino, Ryo Saitoh
Composition: Ayumu Uchino, TOSHiYA, Ryo Saitoh

A story that begins with words
On that day, we still knew nothing
Going somewhere, making memories
All because I wanted to know you better

Even if we can’t fly on rainy days
Like birds nestling next to each other
Even if we’ve been spending these days waiting and waiting
Let’s take a step forward

Let’s go with each other, beyond the sun there
Through the night sky full of stars
Let’s spread our wings, with all you1 have
Let’s take off running, with all the love we have

Words alone are nowhere near enough
On that day, we were a bit uncertain
With only a mobile phone in your hand, you run out
And so, I chase after you2

The monochrome page piercing right through my chest
digs up my dreams and changes them anew
At that moment, the colorful world
began to vividly bloom

The light overflowed into a road without lamps
Even if we’re in the dark
Let’s start walking until we find it

I couldn’t put it into words, I couldn’t tell you
After all, even writing or promises would never be enough
as long as we can smile

Through the night sky full of stars
Let’s spread our wings, with all you have
Let’s spread our wings, with all I have
Let’s take off running, with all the love we have
